Shropshire Council ratified proceeding to developing documents for consultation at their March cabinet meeting for 3000 homes and 50 hectares (that's 80 football pitches) of employment land between Tong and Shifnal. This will go to consultation in late June when everyone will again need to respond. A public meeting will be arranged to inform everyone of the plans, and to provide guidance and assistance to fill in the documentation required. A draft view of what we have interpreted the plans to be is shown below by the highlighted green area adjacent to Tong - note we cannot get any access to the actual plans as Shropshire have not published anything!
